Bonita Colors Royal Wishes

Happy Sunday Funday!

For today's post, I have a swatch of a new shade by Bonita Colors called Royal Wishes. It is a beautiful Royal blue with purple micro-glitter.

It's from the Fabulously Diva collection and it is so pretty!

I used one coat to get this coverage. Yes, one coat!

The micro-glitter is perfect! It adds the perfect shimmery dimension to this polish.

I used this as the base for a mani inspired by my Fast Food Galaxy socks from Living Royal which can be purchased at

So cute right?? I have a video of how I painted the hamburger on my Instagram page.

Bonita polishes are available at Rite Aid drugstores and retail for less than $3. They are good quality polishes for a drug store brand. Visit their webpage for more info:

Trust Fund Beauty Hollywood Hipster

Hello love bugs!

Spring has officially sprung! Goodbye to the dark cold winter and hello to a bright refreshing spring! We can put the dark shades to the side and bring out the pastels and vibrant colours.

Today's post showcases one of the season's top colour trends. This pastel Aqua is called Hollywood Hipster by Trust Fund Beauty. It is from the new Beverly Thrills collection.

This gorgeous mint green with blue undertones is a perfect creme polish which applies like butter!

In the swatch, I used 2 coats with top coat.

I'm in love with this shade!

I recently received some cute socks by Living Royal and they totally match this polish so I used it as the base for a mani inspired by these socks. These are their Donut crew socks. Living Royal products can be found at

I have a video tutorial for the donuts on my Instagram page.

LVX Spring 2015 Voyage

Hello lovelies!

For today's post, I have the final shade from the Spring collection by LVX.

LVX polishes are high quality, department store polishes that are chip and UV resistant, cruelty free and vegan friendly, and do not contain chemicals like formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, toluene, camphor, or dibutylphthalate. The colours are inspired by fashion trends for the season.

The Spring collection is a beautiful mix of bright vibrant colours and rich darker shades.

The final one from the collection is my personal favourite, a bright pink creme called Voyage.

Here is Voyage with one fashion from the runways, a gorgeous ensemble by Ralph Lauren.

I used 2 thin coats and no top coat for the swatch.

It's such a rich colour and was so easy to apply. No streaking whatsoever.

This Barbie pink has risen to be one of my all time favourite polishes. I adore the shade!

Here I paired it with some NailArt done with a double pink ombré and stamping courtesy of the BP-L007 plate by Born Pretty Store. Available at

The other pinks used were Femme (light pink) and Peony (medium pink with purple undertones).

I definitely recommend taking a Voyage with Voyage. It is well worth the price seeing how the polish lasts longer than drugstore brands. I can wear LVX polishes for an entire week without any chips! Make sure you visit their website for more information!

LVX Spring 2015 Noir

Hi friends!

Today's post is on one more polish from the Spring collection by LVX.

This dark mysterious polish is called Noir and it is not your average black polish.

There is pretty shimmer throughout the polish to add some dimension and shine.

Here is a fashion from the runway that goes perfectly with Noir and it is fittingly from the Noir Spring fashion show.

I used 2 thin coats with no top coat for the swatch.

This is such an easy to apply polish.

The shimmer in Noir is so pretty!

I paired it with some water colour clouds, done with watered down white acrylic paint. I have a tutorial for this on my Instagram page.

I'm such a huge fan of LVX polishes. They are high quality, chip and UV resistant, and free of chemicals like formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, toluene, camphor, and Dibutylphthalate. They are well worth the price! Visit their website for more information on all their gorgeous polishes!

Scratch Nail Wraps Feathers by Rik Lee

Hello loves!

I'm going to take a quick break from the Spring LVX collection to share with you some cute nail wraps by Scratch Nails. Scratch Nail Wraps are screenprinted on a thin adhesive with 5-free polish inks. They feel like nail polish but require no drying time.

These special edition wraps were designed by the amazingly talented artist, Rik Lee.

His illustrations are beautiful and Scratch was lucky to get him to collaborate on 3 unique designs.

This feather one is brightly coloured and inspired by Native American Art. It includes 16 wraps, a nail file and a cuticle pusher.

They are very easy to apply and come in several sizes so you can best match to your nail bed.

I love the vibrancy of the colours selected for this design. The feathers are so pretty!

Scratch Nails collaborate with different artists to help share their art with the masses. They have graciously offered some wraps and a polish for a lucky follower. Click the link to enter!

LVX Spring 2015 Turkoise

Hey love!

The next shade from the LVX Spring collection I have to show you is called Turkoise, a beautiful medium blue-green cream.

It is a bit darker than your standard mint, but vibrant and rich.

The colour was inspired by some fabulous turquoise fashions for Spring, like this beautiful ombre dress by Elie Saab.

For this swatch, I used 2 thin coats and no top coat. This applied like a dream and is opaque in 1 coat.

It's so rich and unique!

I did gradient nails with this shade as the base.

I have a tutorial for this reversed gradient on my Instagram page.

I love LVX polishes because they are chip and UV resistant, cruelty free, vegan friendly and free from chemicals like formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, camphor, toluene, and dibutylphthalate. Be sure to visit their website for more info on how to purchase these high quality polishes!
