Trust Fund Beauty Skinny Jeans & Daniel Wellington Watch

Hello loves!!

Long time no chat! Hope you are all enjoying the holidays. I had a very busy Christmas, full of lots of eating. I needed to take a break from baking and paint my nails!

Today I have a beautiful blue polish to show you. I fell in love with it when I first saw it on Instagram and it may be one of my all time favourite polishes now. It is called Skinny Jeans by Trust Fund Beauty. Trust Fund Beauty is a Canadian based company that makes luxury nail lacquer. They are 5-free so they don't contain harmful chemicals like toluene, formaldehyde, or dibutylphthalate. They are chip resistant and come in beautiful colours with super sassy names. Trust Fund Beauty can be found here: www.trustfundbeauty.com

This stunner took 2 thin coats for perfect opacity. It was so smooth and easy to apply. Just look at how vibrant and pretty it is!

I received a watch recently from a company called Daniel Wellington. They make beautifully classic yet chic watches that have interchangeable bands, with leather and canvas options. Daniel Wellington watches can be found here: www.danielwellington.com The one I have is called the Grace Glasgow and it has a leather and canvas combination strap.
For a limited time until January 31, 2015, you can apply my code shaystylista2015 at check out for an extra 15% off your purchase. They also offer free shipping!
The large face makes telling time a cinch! I love how the blue polish and the watch are the perfect pair.

The glitter polish on my index finger is Lumieres by Polished by KPT.
I added some stamped water marble patterns over Skinny Jeans using a stamping plate from www.lightinthebox.com

I am in love with these 2 new things in my collection. I'm not normally a watch girl but Daniel Wellington has definitely changed that!

Christmas holiday nails!

Hello loves!

Oh the weather outside is frightful
But the fire is so delightful
And since we've no place to go
Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

It's snowing like Elsa is on a rampage here in Toronto today. It's such a busy time of year, but if you have the opportunity to use the snow to help you slow down and appreciate all that you have in your life, you'll feel renewed!

I wanted to share some Christmas holiday winter themed nail designs with you in case you needed some inspiration.

First up is a cute little present all wrapped up with a bow!
I used Trust Fund Beauty's Old Money, a stunning shimmery red with Champagne Problems, my new Favourite gold polish. I have a tutorial for this posted on my Instagram page.
I'm in love with this design and the colour combo screams Christmas! I'm planning to wear this during the holidays. :)

Next I have a cute little Christmas tree which is super easy to make! I used Essie's Shake Your $$$ Maker and Serum No 5 Holly Dazed for some sparkle.
You start with a green triangle then add small lines all down the side of the triangle with the same green polish. Add some shading with a darker green and use a dotting tool to dab on the ornaments. Easy easy!

I'll post another 2 designs tomorrow! Stay tuned!

Trust Fund Beauty Bitch Please

Happy Sunday Funday Lovelies!

I can't believe my last post was almost a month ago! I've been so busy and haven't had the chance to prepare my pictures and write up anything. :( I have some pretty polishes to share with you from Trust Fund Beauty. You may remember previous posts I made featuring TFB, this sassy brand from Montreal, Canada. Their polishes are amazing quality, non-toxic, and long lasting. They have super cute names full of attitude. You can visit their website for more information: www.trustfundbeauty.com

This beauty is Bitch Please, a silver-lavender polish that has a foil finish. Quick to dry and easy to apply, Bitch Please has the sassiest name to match its eye-catching colour.

My swatch features 2 thin coats with no top coat.
I had to pair this pretty polish with a pop art beauty full of Trust Fund Attitude.
She is based on the illustration on TFB's founder, Samara Granofsky's notebook.
This is my favourite mani I've done in a while because this sassy girl helped me through some situations where it was best for me to hold my tongue but I still needed something to release my frustration. I would look down at my nails and say, "Bitch, please!!" in my head lol.

Trust Fund Beauty is one of my absolute favourite brands. They apply like a dream and their branding is worth the extra you may spend on a bottle because it is nothing like any other polish you own.

LVX Fall 2014 Anthracite

Hello lovebugs!

I almost forgot to post this!! Here is the last shade from LVX's Fall 2014 collection. I don't know how I could've forgotten because this is my favourite one of the bunch!
This dark gray with slightly blue undertones is Anthracite.
This was so easy to apply and is the PERFECT fall colour. This is 2 thin coats with no top coat.
It's such a classy colour, yet dark and mysterious. I had to add some equally beautiful nail art to the mani.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!! LVX continues to show that they are a brand above the rest. They are bold, yet elegant, classic yet perfectly on trend. Visit their website to order and to find local stockists that carry their polishes!

LVX Fall 2014 Peony

Happy almost Friday friends!

So relieved to have tomorrow off work but I won't be doing anything fun, just running errands and car maintenance. Hopefully I'll have some time to paint some nails!

Today's feature is another beauty from LVX's Fall 2014 collection. LVX polishes can be found on their website: www.shoplvx.com
This lovely pink is called Peony, a pink with slightly lavender undertones.
Application was awesome and was completely smooth and opaque with 2 thin coats.
This pink is so unique and pretty.
Because the name is so pretty, I added a handpainted peony to match.
I posted a video on my Instagram showing how I painted the flower.

LVX polishes are high quality, chip and UV resistant, vegan-friendly, and cruelty free. LVX pays attention to every detail fr their packaging to their shades to their easy to use brush. Thumbs up from me!

LVX Fall 2014 Macaroon

Happy Thanksgiving lovely people!

It's Thanksgiving here in Canada. I took a break from stuffing my face with the yummy thanksgiving food to show you another beauty from LVX's Fall 2014 collection.
This is Macaroon, a warm peach nude.
It is perfectly opaque in 2 thin coats. A gorgeous nude polish that is neutral and looks great on many different skin tones.
I'm in love with this colour! It's the perfect every day shade.

Here I used it as a base for some flirty florals.
Since the name is Macaroon, I had to do some nail art featuring a French macaron.
This Rose gold accent nail is Picture Polish's Majesty.
So cute right?? LVX polish formulation is smooth and easy to apply. Visit their website for more info on how to purchase! www.shoplvx.com
